Girls 4 Girls Ghana is a vital nonprofit organization to help moderate the negative impacts of apathy and lack of available outreach services for underserved young women of Ghana.
Our organization strives to reduce poverty by providing basic needs and education. Supporting the development of mind, body, and soul, Girls 4 Girls Ghana provides as many individuals as possible with a thorough foundation for future success.
Our mission is to provide help and hope for underprivileged young girls in Ghana who have limited resources or limited access to resources needed to meet their basic sanitary needs. Recognizing the needs that exist among our target population, Girls 4 Girls Ghana’s representatives provide girls with feminine products and educational supplies while focusing on individual empowerment.
Our participation is ongoing and expanding. The terrible truth is girls lacking needed feminine hygiene supplies and the knowledge of how to use them do not go to school.
Girls 4 Girls Ghana strives to serve as many young girls as possible with the resources we have available – every individual is important to our organization and we will not discriminate against anyone.
By offering services that focus on serving those less fortunate and addressing the greatest needs of our target community, we can make a positive contribution in helping the people we work with lead a more fulfilling life.
Our Solutions Girls 4 Girls Ghana’s directors have established a distribution program to address the needs of young women in Ghana. Throughout the year, we will ship a variety of educational supplies and feminine products to underserved villages.
We have developed meaningful relationships with local professionals to distribute the items to orphanages, community organizations, and schools in need. Our organization aspires to continually increase the number of individuals served in our distribution program through our continued fundraising efforts.
Our directors have established a strict follow-up procedure that ensures all donations are used appropriately Our administrators monitor the distribution process by recording the recipient’s name, contact information, and exempt status. We also record the amount, type, and valuation method for every distribution.
Organizations receiving assistance are required to submit annual, periodic, and/or final distribution reports. Girls 4 Girls Ghana will also conduct site inspections as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors. Girls 4 Girls Ghana’s representatives will travel overseas at least once a year to personally distribute these items .
We firmly believe that our services will allow these young girls to consistently attend school to secure their education. As a direct result, our recipients will become independent and self-sufficient members of the community. Our activities are overseen by a group of well-qualified individuals.
Our diverse staff members have ties to the community, and thus possess the unique ability to relate to the target demographic. Additionally, our Board of Directors is comprised of a professional group of talented individuals who are dedicated to committing their time and resources to building a stronger community.
