ABOUT G4G GHANA

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

My name is Dina Amoo. I was born in Ghana, West Africa. I came to the United States in 1998 after finishing high school, Ghana Secondary School at Koforidua, Ghana. I received a BSN from Elmhurst College and continued to obtain a Masters in Nursing Administration from Aurora University, United States.

I started this charity organization because of personal experience growing up in Ghana to give back, and to help provide support to remote village young girls in Ghana by providing them undergarments, sanitary pads, as well as education on necessary self-care/STI, and teenage pregnancy prevention.

OUR GOAL

At G4G our goal is to make sure young girls in Africa with limited resources stay in school and focus on their education; as well as educate them on prevention of STI’s and unplanned pregnancies. Arming these young girls with this education we hope that they become productive and successful individuals in their community.

To provide young girls in Ghana with the education and resources that can ensure their safety as they mature
